Annual Dues
Payment is due to the troop treasurer by the end of September each year.
The actual amount is subject to change at any time, but for the 2008-2009
Scouting year the dues were $225. This amount covers the costs
of a Scout's annual registration with the Boy Scouts of America, a subscription
to Boy's Life, troop dues, patches, Courts of Honor and campouts.
Annual dues do not cover any of the costs of summer camp and high adventure
trips.
Crossover Scout Dues
Webelos usually crossover to Boy Scouts in February. The troop
offers a reduced fee for crossover Scouts. For the 2007-2008 Scouting
year, the crossover Scout dues were $50. This amount is subject
to change in the future.
Note: Please submit a check for the amount due to the troop treasurer,
and make the check payable to "BSA Troop 467."
Boy Scout Uniform Costs
Boy Scouts wear the Class "A" uniform for Scout meetings, official or
formal occasions and the Class "B" uniform for more casual events. Class
"B" shirts costs $20-$30 and are usually furnished through the troop.
All other items may be purchased at the Scout Shop located at 1800 Circle
75 Parkway, Atlanta, GA 30339 or online at
scoutstuff.org.

uniform. The prices in the following table are correct as of fall 2008.

The Scoutmaster presents a troop neckerchief
and hat to a Scout when he first joins the troop. The cost of
these items is included in the dues.
Additional Camp / Activity Fees
Annual dues cover most costs associated with deposits, campsite reservations,
canoe rentals, and other fees associated with camping venues. If any
additional money is needed for a particular trip or campout, you will
be notified of the cost in advance. Parents will need to provide
pocket money to their Scout for discretionary trip costs such as "T"
shirts, patches and meals on the road. The amount provided to
the Scout for ancillary costs is up to the Scout's parents.
Annual dues do not cover any costs associated with summer camp and summer
high adventure activities.
